Tontilla oli kaunis metsäinen rinne, jonne halusimme koulun suuntautuvan siten, että mahdollisimman paljon maastoa säilyy. Katua reunustamaan syntyi muunnelma perinteisestä kampakoulusta, kuitenkin pehmennettynä siten, että tilasarjassa erottuu erillisiä taloja.

We wanted the school to be located close to the beautiful, wooded slope, on the plot, so that we could preserve as much of the terrain as possible. Lining the street, we designed a variation of the traditional ‘comb school building’, softened, however, so that a series of houses stand out from the overall shape.
